Water Quality

The Water Quality Program's mission is to protect and improve Kickapoo Nation's water quality. Protecting Delaware river, streams, ponds, wetlands, and groundwater quality keeps these waters safe for a multitude of beneficial uses such as drinking water, fish habitat, recreation and irrigation. This is accomplished by developing and implementing water quality standards and restoration plans, maintaining lagoon systems, collecting and evaluating water quality data, technical assistance to reduce non-point pollution sources, and providing outreach and education.

The water quality program includes the CWA 106, CWA 319, Wetlands Development, Environmental Justice, and Kickapoo Delaware Stream Gage Monitoring Grants.

Available: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
