The Kickapoo Environmental Office (K.E.O.) has operated an Air Quality Program for the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas since 2007. The Air Quality Program, funded under Section 103 of the Clean Air Act by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, operates a weather station, conducts community outreach to increase public awareness of air quality issues, and provides information to the community concerning radon and other indoor air quality concerns.
